Tommi wrote the first open source reader application for the Zeno File Format which was introduced by Directmedia with the Wikipedia DVD 2005/2006, called TntZenoReader. Since then Tommi is involved in the improvement of the file format and the toolchain to create ZIM files. He is a founding member of the openZIM project and main developer of openZIM and Tntnet. | |
Manuel '80686' Schneider
Manuel was in charge distributing the Wikipedia DVDs when he first meet Tommi and convinced him to write an open source Zeno reader using his Tntnet software. As a member he managed to get funds from Wikimedia CH to run a server for the openZIM project and organise developer meetings. He is a founding member of the openZIM project and member of Wikimedia Deutschland and Wikimedia CH. |
